Who We Are

Scott Ferson, a former press secretary to Senator Edward M. Kennedy, founded the Boston-based Liberty Square Group in 1999.  

In 2002, Mr. Ferson partnered with Tracy Spicer, former Political Director and Deputy Chief of Staff to Senator Kennedy, to form Liberty Square DC LLC – now Avenue Solutions – the Washington DC branch of The Liberty Square Group. 

Over the past ten years, the Liberty Square Group has grown to boast an impressive diversity of consultants and associates with decades of collective experience in the public and private sectors.
