ABOUT AMANDA
Amanda Milad Cox is Associate Vice President of Strategic Communications and Public Affairs, where she develops public relations and public affairs initiatives for a diverse portfolio of clients across sectors such as tourism, human services, healthcare, and the nonprofit arena. She brings deep experience in media relations, stakeholder engagement, and strategic messaging to help organizations navigate complex communications challenges and elevate their public presence.

Previously, Ms. Cox served as Chief of Staff to Massachusetts State Representative Cory Atkins, Chair of the House Committee on Tourism, Arts, and Cultural Development. In this role, she played a key part in advancing legislation on civil rights, education, and equal pay, collaborating closely with stakeholders to develop and implement effective policy strategies.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Cox worked as a sports reporter for row2k media, covering rowing at national and international competitions including the NCAA and World Championships.

An active member of the rowing community, she is a multi-time Head of the Charles champion and a Commodore emeritus of the C.R.A.S.H.-B. Sprints World Indoor Rowing Championships. Outside of work, she enjoys running, cooking elaborate meals, and keeping up with her two daughters. Ms. Cox holds a dual degree in Economics and Public Health from SImmons University.
